Why We Support Issue 108

The 2016 election is right around the corner. Included on this year’s ballot is Issue 108, a $15 million no-tax-increase levy renewal that supports the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) and the ongoing implementation of the Cleveland Plan for Transforming Schools. Issue 108 must pass to ensure that the Cleveland Metropolitan School District can continue its efforts to provide all students with a high-quality education. (more…)

Cleveland Goes to College Kick-Off and College Fair

On September 28th, nearly 2,000 Cleveland Metropolitan School District seniors from the District’s 27 high schools were bussed to the Cleveland State University Bert L. & Iris S. Wolstein Center to participate in the inaugural Cleveland Goes to College Kick-Off and College Fair. This was the first time that all seniors had been together in one place for an event of this magnitude – a truly remarkable feat! (more…)
