Hannah Downing
Public Service Fellow

Hannah Downing joined the Higher Education Compact of Greater Cleveland as a Cleveland Foundation Public Service Fellow. Previously, she served as an AmeriCorps Member with City Year Cleveland and worked with 4th and 5th graders in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Hannah received a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Social Science from the Paris Institute of Political Science.

Maggie McGrath
Executive Director

Maggie McGrath serves as the Executive Director for the Higher Education Compact of Greater Cleveland. Prior to her work with the Compact, Maggie worked for the Cleveland Foundation in various roles. Previously, she served as a program associate focused on college access and completion initiatives and as Chief of Staff to the President. Before her time with the Foundation, Maggie worked as a development officer at the University of Chicago. Maggie received her bachelor’s degree in finance from Miami University and her MBA from Case Western Reserve University.
